AlphaFit is a 100% Australian owned family business. We manufacture gear specifically for the strength and conditioning, functional fitness and high performance community.
We have been designing and manufacturing our own equipment from the very beginning. We realised it wasn’t enough to say 'Australian made', we had to prove it. Now certified across thousands of our products, look for the official Australian Made and Owned logo on all of our locally manufactured gym equipment.
AlphaFit's mission is to build high quality equipment with no compromise in design or manufacturing, and to provide a premium product that will outlast the market. Our ability to provide a start-to-finish service ensures short turn-around times and unbeatable customisation.
Our products are innovative, customisable, high quality and almost exclusively made of Australian parts and materials. To ensure our products are the best available we manufacture using state of the art German Trumpf equipment. We also use the latest 3D modeling software to design, stress test and analyse our equipment before production. Our manufacturing facility is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland covering approximately 6000m². We are the biggest and most reputable supplier of Australian made equipment to the Australian functional fitness community. Look for the 'Built Not Bought' logo identifying all of our proudly Australian Made products.
AlphaFit uses the highest quality German Trumpf lasers to provide our customers with the highest-quality precision-cut components. The best equipment and programming means that our steel is cut to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.2 mm for greater accuracy. AlphaFit runs rotary and flatbed lasers so that tube and flatbed sheeting can be cut in house.
AlphaFit’s in-house folding capabilities allows us to fold more complex parts where others might cut and weld. This ensures that we create a stronger, more durable product with tighter tolerances and better consistency across batch runs. All folding is downloaded to our press brakes direct from our 3D modelling software they are then tested against one of our jigs to ensure accuracy meets out requirements.
AlphaFit engages highly skilled tradespersons and boilermakers to ensure batch to batch consistency for every type of welding job from simple to complex. AlphaFit products are jigged for a precision finish. Where possible, AlphaFit will weld where others bolt to create stronger products built to endure.
AlphaFit is the only fitness and equipment company in Australia that sandblasts its products. We sandblast all of our coated products to roughen and smooth surfaces, and to remove contaminants before applying the desired finish. This removes anything that might affect the coating process and provides a better bond for a longer lasting, more durable and consistent finish.
AlphaFit has developed its own line of powder that has given us our reputation for superior grip. Our products are available in 12 different standard colours outside of that we can apply any colour that you choose without affecting lead times. If your equipment is for outdoor use, AlphaFit can apply zinc plating prior to coating for protection against the elements.
AlphaFit’s products are trimmed on the Gold Coast using EVA foam and marine grade commercial covering to repel sweat and eliminate odours. Our trimmings are hand cut and stitched by the finest craftspeople. Our attention to detail is unmatched with all of our products double stitched and back for durability.
If you have an idea, we'd like to hear it. AlphaFit pride ourselves on being in constant contact with industry professionals and athletes to ensure we are creating a range of innovative equipment. Designing and manufacturing the majority of our equipment in-house enables us to have creative control over every step in the process. If you're hunting for a unique and custom piece of equipment or facility fitout, we're up for the challenge.
Our team continue to work tirelessly to process incoming orders and to ship your gear as quickly as possible. Due to the large volume of orders we’re experiencing longer dispatch timelines; 2-3 business days for ready-to-ship gear and up to 30 business days for steel orders.
Don’t worry we’ve got your back! We’re keeping a super close eye on your orders and sending next-day email updates (for steel orders) to give you a clear idea of when you should expect your order to arrive. Thank you for supporting Australian manufacturers and your continued patience at this time.
